Mileva Maric Einstein, wife of Albert Einstein, wrote to the famous Swiss psychoanalyst Carl Jung in 1936 asking for advice on their youngest son, Eduard Einstein, who was suffering from schizophrenia. Mileva gets no idea of Jung’s reaction. After Mileva’s death in 1948, Edward was essentially abandoned. He spent the rest of his life in Bergholzli.
